I can't even really give this much of a rating. I am running Windows 8 and this software keeps on crashing. Yeah, like I'm really going to shell out $50 for a software program that can't even send an error report when it crashes... I am soooo disappointed.

Manage complex or simple job search effortlessly.
Every resume/cover letter can be tailored to each job easily.
Handles versioning simply.
When I spoke with a hiring manager, I had the version of the resume he had in front of him, with no guessing.
If I spoke with someone at a convention, I added them to my contact list, and could decide wether to follow up with them or not, with a complete history.
Extremely easy to use, but very powerful.
A snap to send out dozens of customized resumes, with custom cover letters.
NO MESSY Word files and email clients with attachements all over the place. It really made life simpler for me.Cons

Summary
I used this for my job search. It actually made it *fun*. Not only that, but I could focus on finding qualified leads, and let it take care of all the technical details of managing the process, from start to finish. Minimal time was spent on sending the resume, from the moment of finding a qualified lead, to the sending of the customized resume/cover letter - in the format the employer wanted, by the method the employer wanted, with filenames the employer wanted.

Take it from a professional formally mired and overwhelmed in the blood sport known as online job hunting - JobTabs offers the ultimate cure for the common obstacles besetting a job candidate , that is lack of focus, inability to effectively follow up
a job application and general frustration. In my opinion the program's "Dashboard" and "Job Search Agents" functions alone justify the cost of JobTabs but when you add in
the fact that this software solution forces you to turn a "hit or miss" amateur job quest into a professional organized campaign for employment, the price truly becomes secondary . Combine this program with the resources of LinkedIn and I believe your
job search effectiveness will increase at least tenfold.Cons

"The Best Job Search Investment I Made!"

JobTabs has been a huge help in my job search. The customer service has also been excellent and it is that service which prompted me to write this review. These guys solved a nasty problem with my installation. It turned out that my anti-virus program was deleting one of the files used to run JobTabs. After temporarily disabling the anti-virus program, JobTabs installed perfectly and I was able to start my anti-virus program again. I am very appreciative, because the JobTabs guys did all the work themselves over the internet which was really great. They also pointed out a lot of superfluous programs I had running. Removing them did a lot to free up my computer memory.
I also wanted to mention that they are very responsive. I made some recommendations on some things I would like to see added and they had them coded and delivered in a matter of weeks. That is unusual for ANY company!Cons

I started using JobTabs 6-7 years ago and have only had need of its services for the first three months after that. JobTabs helped me move right into a new job in that short time. By just shaving one week from my job search, JobTabs would have paid for itself many times. In this economy, I can see it saving someone far more than that.
In the years since I last used it, JobTabs has evidently been busy--the functionality now in this app actually makes the digital part of a job search pleasant (well, almost).
My customer service story: I am now reentering the consulting arena, and again have need of JobTabs. When I told the people at JobTabs that I could not locate my license of long ago so needed to buy a new one, they declined my offer and gave me a free upgrade!Cons

Cross-referencing converations with everyone you speak to. Let no detail slip through the cracks!
Save jobs from the web. I always lose paper and no filing system I have ever created on my harddrive has ever really helped me find something, so why not just save them to JobTabs?
Many, many, many, many resumes. This is the difference between looking for a job and getting a job! : )
Cover letter builder. I already know what I am going to say and I already typed in my contact information so why would I want to type it in again? (My personal favorite feature I have found in JobTabs.)

Wish it had a beter way to enter contacts. You have to enter the company first and then add the contact to the company. They just need to make a bigger form for all the info!Summary
Kick ass programm all the way around. Have actually been using it for years (Bought it first time I got laid off. The second time, my employer went under. That was 3 or 4 years in between, but still got a free upgrade!) John and Michael have made so many improvements (some of them at my request) that I needed to give them a pat on the back.
