"Not impressed with Customer Service"

Very shabby customer service for trial period, No options for work orders, Only goes to 2 decimal places for currency and you cannot use fractions.
Summary
I was very excited when I first downloaded the trial version of this software. It looked good - simple and clean, it was user friendly and even had a Bill of Materials option which was key for my cottage industry needs. It looked like the complete solution. After spending over a week inputting my data and exploring, I realised that I couldn't use any price lower than $0.01 as there are only 2 decimal places, and in the Bill of Materials, it didn't recognise any fractions, so if I used less than 1 gm of any ingredient, this would revert to 1. This meant my costing and inventory numbers would always be a little out of sync. However, I still really liked it and figured that I could do some work arounds to make it work for me.
The point of turn was when I found that no matter once I created a bill of materials for any product, the software no longer updated the numbers anywhere else. In every report and in the product inventory it would show up as '-'. All the items without BOMs worked fine.
I then figured it was time to contact NCH to find out whether this was a simple bug in the system, or what to do next. So I went through their customer service process, and sent the email making it clear that I was on the verge of purchasing but my decision rested on their response. It made a lot of mention that unless I bought the software, the response time might be de-prioritised. I didn't want to spend money just to ask a question and then find out that it wouldn't work, so I waited. And waited.
The trial period ran out and I could no longer test anything. And I sent another email and waited some more. After 2 weeks, I received an unsatisfactory response. By this time I had purchased a different software. I really recommend that they improve their pre-purchase customer support as their indifference made me think that this was what I could expect in future. So I was completely unimpressed at the end.
