From United Planet :The easy-to-use Portal Builder Intrexx Xtreme comes with many ready-made templates, with the emphasis on clicking rather than coding. Intranets, portals and Web applications can be developed in a drag-and-drop environment, with fully configurable assets such as a knowledge base, holiday application form and FAQ page available out-of-the-box. Even complex applications that embed foreign data integration and workflows can be developed quickly and easily. One other powerful aspect of the system is its business process-management capabilities. Portals are platform independent (XML,Windows, Linux, Sun) and can be set up to be multilingual. Numerous databases are supported, from Microsoft SQL to license-free databases. User management with LDAP connection and single sign-on ensures role-based users can only access authorised applications. Version 4.5 improves Application Designer with many ready-made templates.
