Internet Video Converter makes it possible to convert the popular video formats thanks to a simple, complete, and effective interface managing open source software. It deals with MPEG video formats, flash video (FLV and SWF), DV, QuickTime, Windows Media Video, MJPEG, Apple TV, AVI (DivX, Xvid, and H264), mobile phone, 3GP, PSP, and iPod.

Videos from YouTube, Dailymotion, and Megavideo can be downloaded and converted directly. A video player is integrated, as well as functions for extracting soundtrack to MP3 and video rotation for movies coming from numerical devices.

  "100% Useless"

  Pros: No pros. It doesn't work.

  Cons: Doesn't work. It appears to be missing a flie called ptheradGC2.dll. I've reinstalled it several times, even downloaded the installer again. Nothing fixes it.

  Summary: Don't bother. Until they fix this problem you are wasting your time with this program. It's a shame, since I've been reasonably satisfied with the earlier versions.

  "Very Useful"

  Pros: It is a valuable resource in converting media to the format I need. I use it almost weekly.

  Cons: Nothing. I haven't found any problems.

  "Older Versions are better"

  Pros: I know old versions and it's the fastest converter, plus it does any format but the great thing is the results were great with perfect audio which I saw other programs unable to do

  Cons: never had issues with 1.52, 1.53 wouldn't convert a flv video and right away 2.10 wouldn't convert vob files but 1.53 does. So stick with older versions.

  Summary: I would give this a 3 maybe 2 but I haven't used it because it failed first one, but because I know this software works great when it does work, I had to give it a 4. I'm sure it's still way better than the rest of the free software on here.
