Recently, my dad set on the Content Advisor but forgot the password. Just a while ago, I went on the Internet to search for ways to disable this without knowing the password. I knew there was a way to disable this using the registry and deleting some files, although not sure, so I searched CNet for a program. I'm no smart person, and still under 14 years old ... and I happened to come across this piece of junk. I saw it, and decided to test out the demo, so I just had a brief browse of the product info. I was about to click the download button when - I saw the ridiculous price - $40 dollars??? The manufacturer of this program must be a madman because it is totally ridiculous, when I myself knew that it could be fixed with just deleting a few files. So I turned to Yahoo!, and guess what - on the link of the search results, I found a page that taught me how to get rid of the password. Took me less than a minute. Verdict: 100% ridiculous, time-wasting, pointless, waste piece of junk.

Like the other guy said, all u have to do is del the value in the registry at: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current\Version\policies\Ratings delete key= Thats it! not sure what all versions this works with tho. (btw, i posted this bc teh other guy did put the "\" in. also.... if u want to do this discreatly :P simly copy the key value; delete it; use IE as YOU deem fit; replace; rinse and repeat. -- modsiw modsiw_modsiw@hotmail.com

This program is NOT worth $45. You can fix this problem is under 10 seconds without paying anything. The demo will only crack a 2 character password and I doubt anyones password(s) is only 2 characters long.

Dont bother with this, find this key in the registry [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Ratings] and delete the entry "KEY" And you will no longer have a password on content advisor. This is all this program will do anyway, but the difference is roughly $45

anyone can get rid of the password with the Regedit. take less then 10 second. you don't need to spend 45 dollar for a 10 second work which anyone can do.
