CNET Editors' review
Sometimes it's enough to download a video or song by itself, but other times we find ourselves with multiple downloads going, which can get confusing and hard to manage. InstantGet is a download manager that helps organize downloads and claims to make them faster. Although we're not sure that the program's claims are accurate, overall, it seems to work well enough.
The program's interface is fairly basic, not differing significantly from that of other download managers we've encountered. It's not the most intuitive program we've ever seen, but with a bit of poking around it's easy enough to figure out its major features. There are several ways to start downloads with the program, including cutting and pasting the file's URL or just dragging and dropping it onto the interface. InstantGet seems to have a particular affinity for Internet Explorer--it automatically opened a page touting other programs by the same developer in IE even though it's not our default browser--and it can scan IE pages for downloadable files. As for InstantGet's claims that it downloads files up to five times faster than average, we're not so sure. The downloads certainly weren't slow, but they didn't necessarily seem blazingly fast, either. The program's built-in Help file is brief but adequate. Overall, we didn't encounter any serious problems with InstantGet, but nothing about it particularly impressed us, either.
InstantGet has a 60-day trial period. It installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to all users.

"My only and prefered download manager"
Version: InstantGet 2.02
Pros
Its simple interface lets you understand what it does, just click Inset to put a new donwload on it, select how many fragments do you want to split your donwnload by (5 as maximum) you may limit your donwload speed if you need it for another aplication with just presing Ctrl+L and finally it gets a long with many proxy programs and individual proxies..
I even have try multiple of the most glorified download managers as ReGet, GetRight and IDM when i tought that these ones would speed up my downloads or just offerme some thing better, but allways came back to may loyal download manager >.< guess its made for me, maybe not famus but it does it work, an does it well... its worth to try (an to use daily for me xD)
Cons
-I haven`t notice any change on the interface in its upgrades but the quality keeps getting better

"simple and effective"
Version: InstantGet 1.95
Summary
This is one of the very few good download programs around with a browser integration that works !
Is it worth $25 ? I am not so sure when you compare it to star downloder which is free.
