I didn't get far enough to find pros - between not supporting zoneminder systems and malware I uninstalled immediately.

Pros
Fairly easy to install, straightforward entries. Presents a clear image without a lot of irrelevant boxes or content around the image. You can size your page to fit the image and push it to one corner of a page although I put it o a second monitor mostly. Also good is that you can use the same app on all kinds of devices. In addition to my computers I use it on my kindle fire and Samsung phone.
Cons
The free version is limited in controls. As lighting conditions change in the room I monitor I would like to be able to adjust the brightness if not the contrast.

Summary
This is a great, free software product for quickly viewing cameras. Loads up instantly and displays my 4 IP cameras on my Windows 8 PCs at home and at work. I use norton and AVG antivirus, both have shown the download is clean, I don't see how the other reviewer had a issue. Much cleaner and smoother than the software that came with my cameras and I have to mention that the supported camera list looks like it has just about every camera manufactured. Well done.

"Just what I was looking for"

I have 4 IP cams from 2 different companies each having their own viewing software. This program allows me to view all the cams at the same time on one screen. Very easy to install and use. It's similar to my IP Viewer on my smartphone. Even allows to pan and zoom.
Cons
None yet, although I just installed it on both my desktop and notebook.
Summary
I may look into the add-ons after experimenting. So far, I like it.

One of the few monitoring software products that seamlessly works with both USB and IP cameras. I think this might have the most extensive list of IP cameras supported that I have ever seen. I've added it to my startup group and it runs on my PC from when I turn it on till I turn my PC off. Great for keeping an eye on the house cameras. I wish all software worked as well as IP Camera Viewer.

Summary
I have 3 IP cams at one home, 2 at another and 4 at at a friends. I can monitor them all as well traffic cams on a single screen. Set up is fast and easy. The app is well supported by the developer. By the paid app - it's well worth it and ridiculously cheap.
WHOOPS! - got the this confused with the Android app of a similar name. This is the PC program but I am just as pleased with it. I use the free version and just monitor 4 cameras. The paid version is a little pricey for my needs but worthwhile if you need the functions it offers.
