If you are going to install a video surveillance system or Webcam/netcam monitoring software, at first you need to analyze required network traffic and sufficient HDD space. IP Camera Bandwidth and Disk Space Calculator is a special software design tool made for calculation of required network bandwidth and storage space for network IP camera based video surveillance system of any size from small to big. Just select your network camera resolution, compression level from drop-down lists, enter required FPS (frame per second) and total number of CCTV cameras and get the result. In compare with online calculators you can calculate network bandwidth and storage space for many network cameras simultaneously. Software does not need an Internet connection and it has a really fast and friendly user interface. Additionally you can calculate focal length for camera lens to determine what 3rd party lens will be needed. Version 3.0.2 adds support for camera lens focal length calculation and for new compression options.
