Malware can consist of computer viruses, adware, tracking software, and many other forms of mayhem, but what it has in common is that none of it is welcome in your computer. You should already have antivirus protection and similar safeguards, but we strongly recommend regularly scanning your PC for infections with an antimalware tool. Fortunately, you have several choices when it comes to free tools that can find and remove a wide range of threats and nuisances. IObit's Malware Fighter Free comes as a standalone download or bundled with other IObit tools. With automatic updates, a variety of system guards, and a Cloud Security option, it offers a lot in addition to its scanning capabilities.
Malware Fighter's user interface is typical of system utilities, despite its unique colors scheme and design: large fonts, rounded edges, and ads (someone has to pay; just be glad it's not you!) as well as tabs accessing the program's Overview, Scan, Protect, and Cloud features. Clicking Quarantine called up a dialog listing suspicious files (if any). The Protect page offers 8 separate guard options: Startup, Browser, Network, File, Cookie, Process, USB Disk, and Malicious Action. The Cloud Security page lets users upload their data to IObit's Cloud security site. After updating the database, we scanned our system. By default, the first scan is the program's Smart Scan, but subsequently we could choose it or Full or Custom scans. The scan took a little more than three minutes and found no malware. A full scan took much longer, though. We also ran Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, which many consider the standard in free anti-malware tools. But it found nothing that IObit's tool missed.
So which should you try? Both! Here's the thing about free malware scanners: Absolutely nothing is stopping you from downloading and running as many as you like (just not simultaneously). You have nothing to lose but your malware. Try IObit; try Malwarebytes; try the others, too, and then make a regular habit of using the ones you like best. You'll never be sorry you scanned too much.

No customer support at all. The protection can't be that good since I found 14 trojans on my son's PC. Removing then and getting any type of support from them has been non-existent. I would spend my money on a company that supports their product.

You can't say good enough things about this software unless you've ever lost a computer or had your privacy breached before. IObit is a great company motivated to keep your PC safe POINT BLANK!

There really aren't too many MAJOR cons about this product. Most complaints would be due to glitches or bugs in the design which are usually quickly repaired through free software updates.

This is a must-have download to keep your PC safe! I would strongly recommend downloading IObit Advanced System Care to go along with this to make sure your computer is safe and is running top notch as well.

I got real tired of the constant pup-up windows telling me to upgrade after I had already upgraded. Then when I fixed that, kept getting more windows each day telling me to load the latest version. When I clicked on it, I was told that the latest version was already loaded! Too bad they keep trying you to buy when you have already bought once.

I am a webmaster, Host, PC Doctor and basically can offer services for any and everything computer and Internet. I have used the free versions of Malware Fighter, Advanced System care and Game Booster for a long time and have been very satisfied.
With the special prices, I have now upgraded to the full versions. I don't actually have a rating on the full versions yet but expect the same superior services I have always enjoyed from IObit. I will post a full review after more use.Cons
I believe the full versions will leave me with no cons as the only cons from the free versions was that they did not fulfill all the functions of the full versions.
Summary
I use these products not only for all my home systems (4 desk tops, 1 laptop and one cell phone) but also along with a number of other software, I also use them to help others others with their computer and Internet problems.
I highly recommend IObit software to everyone from beginner to advanced expert. It is self explainatory, easy to use and always gives excellent results. -
