Editors' reviewThis alarm clock doubles as a timer, offering desirable features that, unfortunately, have limited range. Hands Free Clock sports a small, straightforward interface that displays a clock and lets you activate alarms, a stopwatch, and an egg timer. The desktop clock shows the time (including seconds) and the date and synchronizes with your system clock, but doesn't write to the system tray as do similar applications. The alarm feature lets you schedule as many alarms as you'd like, although scheduled alarms can only run once and are automatically deleted after use. Alarms come with user-input pop-up messages and can be associated with a WAV file. The stopwatch lets you count up to 60 minutes. The egg timer counts down the hours, minutes, and seconds you input and sets off a basic alarm sound as time expires. All told, although this freeware works decently, it's not hard to find more robust alarm clocks.
