Pros: Simple, works well for beginners.
Cons: -No AVI support, can only create MP4 and MKV files now.
-Seems to run slower than previous versions.Summary: If you are going to use this to make files to use on an Apple device, it should work fine for such uses. Summary: If the people who complain about the AVI support go to Handbrake's website and read the reasoning behind the removal, they will see that it made perfect sense. They haven't updated the AVI code since 2005!! It's outdated.

Pros: Zero, zilch, none
Cons: The developers removed support for Xvid/AVI, the most popular video codec/container combination on the planet with this version. Really dumb move on their part.
Summary: Absolutely worthless now. The developers need to pull their heads out of their behinds and listen to their users instead of trying to dictate to them what they think they should use.
