This free program helps you retrieve and save videos to your PC from the Internet. You must copy and paste a URL into its interface's appropriate field, then the utility checks the page for video links so you don't have to sift through the entire page manually. HTML Movie Parser then generates an HTML code specific to each of the video links on the page. The links let you download and watch a movie. Right-clicking the provided link lets you save the movie to your hard drive. The two-paned interface isn't fancy, but it is easy to use, especially in how the program instantly retrieves a video URL for parsing. The instructions are simple and direct. HTML Movie Parser may appeal to Webmasters, but there aren't a lot of bells and whistles. Anyone who watches a lot of movies or movie trailers online may appreciate this application.

Publisher's description

From Jabirnet :

HTML Movie Parser retrieve movie to save it for you. By sifting through the source code of a Web page this application will identify code that applies to a video link. From there it will isolate the link and open it up therefore giving you the opportunity to save the video at any file location. It works great if you frequently visit message boards and would like to save videos without having to sift through your Internet cache.

    Version: HTML Movie Parser 1

"some minor cliches, but it worked (saved video off a website)"

by TySeattle on October 5, 2005

Pros: runnin XP Tablet(pro) with decent ram.

To get this to work, first I had to find it...

    Installed itself in Programs,

but does not show up as a program installed (dee, dee dee)

Then I positioned mouse over video, right clicked on properties

And cut that http, not the website http, pasted into the box

then followed the how to use

Note after u create the HTML code for target &

& save the target, it saves as a shortcut 1KB,

I did not find the file, but it did show the video after

I disabled the online connection, so i know its there somewhere...

Looks like great potential, is what I was looking for,

but since I do not know where the file is,

worry about losing it when I clean my internet history cache

Cons: don't know if I will still have the file when I go to look 4it again
