GPS Wedge receives and displays GPS data from a variety of GPS receivers, GPS data loggers, and GPS tracking systems. The software can perform import/export operations between a wide range of applications and formats including Microsoft MapPoint, MSDE compliant databases, OziExplorer, Magellan track files, MapInfo, and text files. Supported map formats include BSB, SID, TIF, GeoTIFF, BMP, PCX, TGA, PNG, ECW, AGF, DWG ArcInfo TAB, and MapInfo TAB files. While the software is suitable for general use it is especially optimized for use with Laipac Technology and CommLinx Solutions GPS data logger and GPS tracking systems and allows full configuration of these systems. See the developer s site for details on some recommended GPS hardware.

Version 2.13 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
