A computerized version of a toy available in every Toys 'R' Us, this download changes the pitch of people's voices as they talk into a microphone. This is hardly an ambitious task, but even so, we weren't particularly impressed with the results. The voice distortion seemed unnecessarily high pitched, and the software's interface somewhat amateurish. However, we did appreciate the small size of the program, and the fact that it doesn't require a full installation. It can certainly produce a few minutes of fun, but anyone seeking a pitch-shifting application for music, recording, or other serious purposes should look for a more powerful audio tool.Publisher's Description

Funny Voice changes the pitch of your voice. Higher pitch will let you sound like a smurf, less pitch will give you a deep voice. All you need is a microphone. Instead of your microphone, plug in the sound output of your TV card or your audio system and listen. You can also use it for your answering machine.

"A computerized version of a toy available in every Toys 'R' Us"... Huh? I'm not sure what that has to do with this software, but I've spent some time with audio software and can appreciate the stable, hassle free interface that most other voice software can't touch. The partial install was mentioned, which means no added audio device drivers to contend with inside the PC settings department. This software is called "Funny Voice", which means your voice will not sound like Mariah Carey...it will sound funny.
Cons
This software is a good start, but you may want to try another free software called Vocalster, I got from exVox.com, If that's not good enough for you, get ready to spend atleast $30 for a descent software program.

Just click Start to start using it. You say it and then it will play for you. Before running it I checked it with Malware Malbytes and with Avast! and they did not find a threat.

The quality is very poor. Therefore the voice was not clear. It was hardly undestandable and it felt like it had an echo.
Summary
When you change the pitch the program makes a sound as you do that tells you that the speed is changing. It runs as an executable (it does not install files). Therefore you need to go back to the directory where you installed it and click on it. It will start right away. Since the sound it produces is poor and hardly undestandable then it is not really a good download. If you try to plug the speaker into the microphone to use a file with it then you will get a lot of noises and it does not seem to work or poorly.

It can really change your voice. You may have some fun with it.

It can change voice but the quality is bad. It only change your voice through mic but you can not do anything with it. You can't record, use with online chat, etc... I won't waste my time with this stupid software
