"I find the program more trouble than it's worth"
Pros: It does provide a helpful service by periodically scanning for updates and then placing you at the download site.
Cons: For some programs an update became available but TechTracker never acknowledged that they had been updated. This continued for every trial I tried. Further there was no way to eliminate a program from the scan to avoid the problem
