Its super easy and stable. I use it daily and the index feature is great!

It may have some issues finding your soundcard
Summary
I've been using this software to record radio shows so that i can dump them in an mp3 player and listen to the show at my desk the next day at work. The timer and index functions are great. I have successfully used it on XP and Windows 7. Years ago, there was one single soundcard in a laptop didn't jive with it. It does not replace Audacity or adobe audition, so if you're wanting to record LPs, it can do it, but feels slightly compress and limited. I recommend this software 100% which I rarely do.

Cons
Publisher's description included the feature I wanted (vcr-like timer), but this would cost $25.
Summary
The program pops up, "Feature not available in free version" when you try to change the recording quality, use the timer, or do other things. Maybe the free version is worthwhile to some, but not me.

Lower edge of window was not accessible so buttons could not be clicked. It had no close button so I needed to use Task Manager.

The windows came up with the edges gone so I couldn't see all the buttons. After changing three settings the whole thing froze and dinged at me no matter what I did. I couldn't close it with Task Manager so I had to restart my computer.
Summary
Don't bother trying this if you have WIndows 7.
