From FAE Systems :Free Audio Editor is a multi-functional audio editor that allows you to perform various operations with your audio files, such as filtering, adding effects. The program includes more than 20 sound effects and filters. You can record new audio from your microphone or any other input source, insert noise or silence. It displays a waveform image of the audio files and allows you to visually edit it (Cut, Copy, Delete Silence, Paste, Paste From File, Mix, Mix From File).

"Most User-friendly Audio Application"
Pros: 1. Easy to install, use, edit, extract, convert to almost all desired audio format
2. Audio effects to remove most irritants from any audio file, or, to enhance audio quality
3. Real time editing on the audio waveformCons: Lacks Option for setting to save files to a sub-folder of the source folder. It should have been the default setting.

Pros: If you could save your work and this was really free, it would be great!
Cons: Misleading advertising - not free.

"Awesome software. Can edit file till one bit"
Pros: Can see the song in wave form with easy interface.Can edit any song in any way.
Cons: no idea. need to check. nothing bad found yet.

"Great editing software with a catch...."
Pros: Easy to use
Quick hassle free downloadCons: Not 'free', can only save to .wav format. For other formats need to upgrade (purchase) software.
Summary: Misleading advertising, free with limited functionality only (cannot save to formats advertised, onl if you buy software upgrade).
