I downloaded this program and disliked it because it was very confusing and when i locked a folder and made a password, it could not detect the password so pretty much the file was ruined. So if you try this, test it out on a "unimportant file" first.

i use one password for everything, which is stupid, unless you have a bunch of passwords to remember and you don't want to forget your password. in this case, it didn't matter - I CAN NO LONGER ACCESS MY MOST IMPORTANT FOLDER! THANKS YOU A**HOLES.

After you lock a folder, it doesn't recognize your password, and sometimes it closes in between locking, and you folder gets screwed up. I ended up locking some system file folders, and my whole operating system, which is vista didn't work any more.

i used this program to lock a folder. i followed the instructions, and upon testing the effectiveness, the file was nowhere to be found. i uninstalled the program and my files are GONE!

I was looking for free or cheap folder locker, after search I found this Folder Latch
From this site, I locked a folder and worked very well, second folder didn?t (locked my folder) couldn?t unlock it.
However, I emailed softpen, they suggested to download latest version from their website
And I did, from that day I have no problem and works great.
Looks some people they bother to visit soften and see if there is new version. Don?t blame the program, but yourself.

I liked every thing, free and works great, I didn?t like some people just have negative posts for someone try to help us for free.
