Although it's not the most feature-rich application, Fk Desktop offers a straightforward approach to creating and navigating virtual desktops that any user can appreciate.
Fk Desktop offers a plain and simple interface that's accessible through the system tray. You can create as many desktops as you want and move between them through the tray icon. In our tests, we were also able to modify desktop names, set wallpaper, and specify background and font colors without any glitches. Unlike similar desktop organizers, this one doesn't support hot keys, and we needed to look just above the Windows clock or mouse over the tray icon to know which desktop we were currently logged on. We easily created shortcuts to folders and files, and we copied and moved them onto any of the virtual desktops we created.
You'll find a few extras, including an alarm feature, calendar, and clock. But its Fk Desktop's simple approach to desktop management that will be the drawing card for users at any level.
