  works faster than using an editor

  Cons

  hate that they try to add on a lot of really bad, free downloads including "community tool bar" which really slows internet browsing. I caught that and declined that before it installed.

  Summary

  this is a trial and had to purchase it in the end. If you have a lot of avi files to join it is great. Will merge 3 700m avi files in to 1 2100m file in a few minutes.

  Smooth joining, you can't tell where the parts were.

  Not as fast as what I would call fast.

  Summary

  I've used it several times with no problems, but I wish it would also join WMVs.

  Pros

  Does what it was designed to do, and does it quickly. It has a simple interface, and the resulting file is exactly the same quality as the original.

  Cons

  None, as long as you are only intending to join AVI or MPEG files with the same resolution, video codec and audio parameters.
