    Version: FTP Surfer 1.0.7

    "image files corrupted"

by coolasafanman on October 12, 2009

Pros: fast and doesn't hang the way the built in ftp functionality in windows works.

Cons: image files, particularly gifs, get corrupted

Summary: seems fine for text files but not worth using if you've got lots of image files to move.

    Updated on Oct 12, 2009

I should mention i have windows vista

    "Easy to use."

by raphahelp on March 18, 2009

Pros: It automatically identified logon information for my website from other FTP software that I already had installed on my unit.

Cons: As of yet, I have not found any.

Summary: Fast, easy to use. No double windows needed. Just drag files into the online folders and you are done. Much better than smartftp.

"Possibly the easiest & most stable FTP Client for the PC"

by fattymattybrewing on June 25, 2008

Pros: This super fast, stable and easy program is a must have for anyone using FTP servers. I have installed this FTP client on all the PC's which I use frequently in my home, at work and at clients' and friends' PCs. I have been using this software for 5 years now and have never had a problem with bugs in the application or spam is not installed when you load this FTP client application on your machine. I would recommend this client for any advanced or novice user as the UI is very familiar and the site profiles are great too!

Cons: Not much honestly, really no complaints, the only thing worth mention here is every time you open the application, an ad is displayed as part of the UI which goes away once you connect to one of your FTP sites.
