EzStamp 2006 is a leap forward in stamp categorization. Its impressive catalog of more than 19,000 stamps (10,000 in the trial version) links high-quality images to a database that tracks your stamps' current values and prices alongside their details. Handy fields track your stamps' hard-copy locations and facilitate quick cross-referencing. The program is exceedingly flexible--you get multiple cataloging options, single- or multiple-entry forms, and oodles of customizable preferences.
EzStamp 2006 is great...if you can divine the correct start-up procedure. Though friendly-looking, the program forces users to peruse the cumbersome help manual before starting up, or else become locked in a dead-end form and forced to start anew.
Other features in the comprehensive suite include nine report choices, easy-access stats, and an electronic option for browsing eBay to extend your collection. You can also use the program's image tools to magnify or view the watermark, and there's even an amusing sliding-panel game to test your unscrambling skills. EzStamp works best for serious collectors with a knowledge of databases and philatelic lingo.
From SoftPro 2010:

EzStamp is by far the most comprehensive, up to date and easiest to use. Easily cross reference to other numbering systems. Great for the Plate Block Collector
The options are nearly unlimited and there's absolutely everything that stamp collector might want to record about their stamps. The userface is incredibly intuitive and every feature makes the program more enjoyable.
I'll write them down if i find any.
Marios, provides excellent customer service and is quick to reply and persistent in solving any problem.
EzStamp is incredible! The program is available in different country configurations so you chose specific areas that you collect or decide to buy the whole world (best value). Currently, data for the whole world contains 634 countries with over 701K worldwide stamps and over 400K stamp images.
EzStamp is very powerful and has handled all of my philatelic needs nicely. Beyond the inventory capabilities, it is very useful for research purposes. The ability to save images (not only your own stamp images, but certs and word documents, etc.) to individual records is very powerful and makes a great repository.
Marios (the creator of EzStamp and CEO of SoftPro 2010) is extremely responsive to any inquiries and very helpful! To that end, he has created a very thorough set of free training videos (available online) which will greatly increase your enjoyment of the program and open your eyes. Expect to say wow! as you watch the videos.
A "cloud" backup feature is also an option - get it!
This really isn't a con but with any powerful program, some may only use 20% of the features and others may be "power users" utilizing 95% of the features. For basic use, most users should be able to move forward quickly as the program is very intuitive. For others that want to take advantage of the flexibility or advanced features, a simple investment of time is all that is required. The excellent PDF manual is over 300 pages (this is a very powerful program). You will be well served by flipping through the manual to learn more about the capabilities and features.
Both of my hobbies (Stamp Collecting and Amateur(Ham) Radio DXing)) have much in common. Both involve a love of geography and the pursuit of "chasing a new one" be it a "filling a hole" in my stamp collection or a "new" country/contact for me on the radio. Both hobbies are well served with specific top notch logging/cataloging software to track my QSOs (radio contacts) or to inventory my worldwide stamp collection.
I've been using EzStamp since version 7.77 in 2009. I recently upgraded to version 22.214.171.124 and expanded my software to the worldwide edition (634 countries rather than simply US, Canada and several EU countries). The completeness of the data is amazing with outstanding features and flexibility.
I wholeheartedly recommend EzStamp to anyone considering a stamp catalog program.
Marios also developed SRS - a stamp recognition program which can be utilized with EzStamp to identify stamp images. It is a great timesaver and extremely quick! I also use EzImage Pro which is a very powerful image editor / processor which can perform auto separate, auto rotate and auto crop.
Mario's updated his website last year and it is very easy to navigate. check out www.ezstamp.com
Version 126.96.36.199 now includes our unique Global search tool as well as the 2017 updates, Cloud Backup. 620 countries with over 682,000 stamps listed. Now also includes a huge US Plate # Database with 45,000 entries.
