Excelsior JET is a complete solution for acceleration, protection, and deployment of your Java applications, certified Java Compatible on a number of Windows and Linux platforms. Excelsior JET Optimizer converts your application's classes and jars into highly optimized Intel x86 code and creates a native executable for Microsoft Windows or Linux platform. Excelsior JET Runtime is a complete Java Virtual Machine that works with both Java classes and the executables produced by the Optimizer. It implements the Java SE 6 platform. Excelsior JET Deployment Toolkit facilitates rapid creation of complete installation packages for your optimized Java applications. The JRE need not be pre-installed on end-user machines.

Version 6.5 implements the Equinox OSGi Runtime core at the JVM level, effectively enabling protection of Eclipse RCP against reverse engineering and tampering through native code compilation.

What's new in this version:

Version 6.5 enables you to compile your Eclipse RCP application to a native code executable and distribute it without the original class/jar files. Other news: overall toolchain scalability improvements, faster JIT compilation, usability enhancements, improved application performance, and stability improvements.
