Assemble install, uninstall, and support files into one executable file.

Little Setup Builder is a tool for creating simplified install programs. Little Setup Builder assembles and packs an install program, an uninstall program if existing, the files to install, and the support files in a single executable file.

Since the install program produced by LSB consists of a single file, whose size must necessarily be manageable by the OS, it is not indicated to include applications whose overall size exceeds 20MB.

LSB makes use of Windows' basic installation functions; this allows incorporation of the file version identification system implemented through VS_FILE_INFO resources. This update features minor enhancements and bug fixes.

It's pretty nice, though somewhat complex. It can at least an hour to become familiar with, but from there on it's fun and easy. The design isn't incredibly user-friendly, and some things can take a while to access, but everything important IS there. Unfortunately, it's missing some nicer features such as silent installs and the ability to use a picture for a backcloth. Also, use of pictures at all can sometimes end up looking funny.

I'm a university student currently taking a programming course. This product was a quick, easy to learn solution to package my program files and distribute to users. I highly recommend this program to build your setup programs.

At first, I found it very difficult to explore the function of LSB. With no wizard, help file is the only bible. It took me 2 hours to create one basic setup file. However, after 4 hours, the output was excellent and superb! Great jobs! (esp. for a freeware!)
