Version 2.3 may include full support for Visual Studio 2005 and .NET Framework 2.0, direct formula support in reading and writing, direct named ranges support in reading and writing, and more flexible licensing.

"Adds no program working with xls files"
Pros: a "lite xls viewer" sounds good idea
Cons: It just gives two directories of samples, which are useless for my (and a possible downloader's) need. It does not help with existing xls files.
