This program helps reveal folder's memory consumption, but it doesn't offer any file-management tools. DiskChart's functional interface displays folders in a tree list, but we are disappointed it doesn't automatically read the contents of selected folders as Windows Explorer does. To reveal its resource expenditures, you can calculate the folder size or click the folder pie or file-type pie tabs. The tree list of your hard drives makes it easy to select drives or specific folders, and results are displayed in pie charts. We like the ability to right-click on the pie chart to quickly see the largest files in the selected folder or drive. Lacking are its file-management tools, as DiskChart doesn't let you delete folders or view the files within them, though you can open them in Windows Explorer. While the program may lack a couple of features found on similar tools, users of all levels should have no problem mastering it.

  "Usefull, and simple"

  Pros: Easy to use

  Cons: made explore crash some times

  Summary: Good and very usefull tool, easy to use aswell. Nice feature, that you simply click on the chart-parts you want to further investigate. And another nice feature is that you can see wich type of files, are filling up all your harddisk-space. Took me ... read more >>

  "Amusing, but useless"

  Pros: Nifty little pie chart showing how big each folder is.

  Cons: Won't let you actually change anything, just look. What good is that? Claims to let you view older files, but it won't.
