"DOES NOT WORK !!!"
Version: Directory Password Security 1.1
Pros
None. Sounded like what I wanted but does not work.
Cons
It will let you secure a file, but then it will not let you locate it to unsecure it. Also does not allow the right click option as mentioned in the description.
Summary
The description said "The software is quite easy to operate. The directories can be locked or unlocked in simple three steps.Step 1 - Right click on the directory/file Step2 - Enter the password Step3- Click on protect/unprotect button." but it will not show up as an option when you right click your mouse; you have to use the menu option. That would have been acceptable to me, however, when you use the menu option to locate your file to unsecure it, you can not find it. It would also allow me to delete the file it created to show the file had been secured. That file was also not able to be found to attempt to unsecure the file. Thank God I created a test file to use instead of loosing a real file directory. Bottom line - DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR USE THIS PROGRAM.
