Diaita is a personal Food and Weight Log and Calorie counter, as well as a food calorie database.
Features Include:
- Separate Data Files for Multiple Users
- Daily Food Log for : Morning, Midday, Evening foods and Snacks
- Two Food Lists maintained for each user : "base" list and a "favorites" list
- Automatic tally of calories for each section and for the day
- 25 Categories, which may be renamed or re-ordered
- Detailed data storage for each food Item: Calories, Fat g, Fiber g, Protein g, Sugar g, Carbohydrate g
- a Weight Log for each user
- a Weight Chart available for viewing for either
- the current month or for a three month period.
- Printing of the daily food log available from the File Menu

Pros
I love this software, have used it for years.
You don't have to scroll through some unmanageably huge database to find your food choices. You quickly create your own personal database that is far easier to navigate on a daily basis.Cons
You do have to input your food nutritional values (once).
If you intend to really use a log, it is well worth the extra effort to create your own personal data-base.Summary
Great program. Useful, versatile, I highly recommend it.
