"I no longer us MS Access"

This program offers more than MS Access in terms of how my CRM is viewed.
The other features make my life so much easier.Cons
1. I cannot set up Macro/Micro for sorting the database into different categories, or at least I don't know how. It is just one huge database. This is a big issue for the work I do.
2. I need a viewer for the other two people I share the database with. Not on a network - in different states.
3. Advanced capabilities needed in basic: Just because I am not able to be on a network I am penalized. Unfair and too pricey for Pro for just 1 user's need for more abilities.Summary
An awesome piece of software at a good price for basic.
For more than 1 user not on a network it is NOT user-friendly. No viewer to share with another and less capable for 1 user. -

Very easy to use and transfer from Excel is a breeze.
Cons
except for 1) they really need to design a viewer for people who wish to share the product with those who do not want to buy it; and 2) The files are extremely cumbersome, as all data goes into a single file which seems to contain all registration info along with the file. How is the user supposed to share the file except on a network? The software allows you to transfer a file to other formats, but only as a printable document. 3) The custom colour feature for backgrounds does not retain custom colours! 4) It is very difficult to edit a large database without fixing every single entry manually.
Summary
File and data sharing capabilities needs improvement.

This software has many excellent features and you can get up and running quickly and easily. I like the intuitive designer interface, and also the reporting functionality (you'll need to upgrade to the PRO edition for that, but it's well worth it).
This software is for those of us small business owners who need the common capabilities of say, MS Access, but can't afford (or don't want to afford) paying hundreds of dollars to own another bloated Microsoft application. Most of us have no need to develop "expressions", "sub-reports", and the like.
Power users will be happy to know you can create "calculated fields" and like one other reviewer noted, the importing functionality for your new creation works great.
I love my Database Oasis - great job!! :))

I've been searching for so long to find something I could use to keep track of different stuff. I wanted something that I could use without reading tons of manuals. So many things I tried I would install and then think "now what". Database Oasis just works.
