Publisher's description of Data Loader
Data Loader is designed to load data into an Oracle database. Oracle does not offer a way of loading data directly into the database from a text-based or excel-based file. The only way to do this is to use SQL Loader, which needs to have specific control files written. Data Loader allows to pass the incoming data to a built-in oracle function or even a custom function.
Version 1.0.3 fixes a compatibility issue with Windows XP Pro with certain versions of dlls.

Pros: Simple to use and easy interface. The advanced mapping is nice feature. I love this product since I have to load many flatfiles and hate writing control scripts.
Cons: More features would be nice.

Pros: I had been looking for a similar product that can load flat files without writing control scripts. This is it. Specially the advanced mapping feature is good.

"Cannot Excecute the exe file at all, immediately crashing"
Cons: I'd like to see advice which extra DLL's etc I need. I Tried in two diffrent pc's: Windows XP SP2 and Win 2000 SP4. The first pc is even having Oracle 9.2 server installed. Still not working.
