Publisher's description of DIRD
From L&G:From the developer: ""Windows Explorer is a wonderfull piece of art, with a few pitfalls yet some missing functions. DIRD aims at overpassing the pitfalls and adding several usefull facilities.
""First: DIRD shows simultaneously two directory trees. Each tree contains the directories of a disk. You may see at the same time either two different disks (for instance: your C: and F:, the C: of another network computer on your network), or twice the same disk. If you are working on two distant directories, you will feel much more confortable. Second: you may synchronize totally or partially two directories: select on the letf a directory of your portable computer and on the right the same directory of your desk computer and update both from left to right and from right to left based upon the date and hour of the files. Last you will find several files manipulation commands simple and clear : Creating, renaming or deleting a directory, Filtrering files, Changing date, time or attributes, Copy, move, delete files, Changing the date, time or attributes, Rename with wildcards, Synchronize two directories etc.""

Version: DIRD 1.0
"Easy to use, no problems at all, good features."
Summary: I downloaded this to my Windows 2000 machine, and it runs fine, no problems to report at all. Good alternative to Explore, which I've had a lot of problems with.
