  None whatsoever. It wouldn't install.

  "You can't open the application "Crm4Mac 3.0" because PowerPC applications are no longer supported" So, first of all it wouldn't install. Secondly, it made unwanted changes to my computer such as changing the default search provider to Yahoo instead of Google. I think this company should be put out of business.

  Summary

  Rubbish. Stay away unless you want viruses that change your computer settings.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />For me, running a small business, the CRM4MAC software is a great help in keeping an overview on the calendar and the fastest go between to telephone numbers, adresses at the same time. The extra functions like being able to automatically calculate the time working on a project makes it in my opinion very good value for money! I especially want to mention the great support the developers gave me.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I like the idea of a central dashboard for the various apps and mainly try use the program as an activity center where I can input notes from phone calls, create contacts, and review activities. I'd like to do more but I am not confident that this is going to work out. Found that if using ISO date format of yyyymmdd, adding events doesn't work. And no matter what the date format the sync for bringing events from iCal to crm4mac is very flaky. To change the TIME in the end field, you often must use arrow keys: typing is ignored. Sometimes you can change by typing but the logic is not very. Only one "report" available for printing or exporting and it just the activity pane. There is no way to print the notes from the activities and it looks the notes are only stored in crm4mac. Initial response to feedback when evaluating was prompt, but since then the response has been practically non-existent.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />The concept is a very nice one, and what there is works well. But what is missing makes it more awkward to use than it should be. The first thing I noticed was that you could add people to events by dragging, but there is no way to show their contact info in the event. You must go over to the address pane and find them. Hovering over their name in the event should display their contact info. I couldn't find a way to delete an email from within crm4mac. I highlighted the mail, clicked on the "-", and was able to delete only the reference in crm4mac or all email references for that day. But only the references. The window for reading the email is too small because of all the other panes, but you can't pop a full-screen view of the email without launching (or switching into) Apple Mail. There is no option for displaying events and mail only from today forward unless you change the filter dates every day. All the default filters want to include the past week or month. There is no help. There is no manual. Bottom line? This has the potential to be a great product. And when it gets there, I expect to use it as my main interface and it will be well worth the $50. But it isn't there yet ;-(

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />The developers have done the right thing by not increasing the price of this good product, else people would be put off from trying it. Also at a time when Apple are bundling a lot of good quality software with the Mac, the casual user needs price incentives to use added value products like CRM4MAC. Don't forget that those of us living in Europe have to pay VAT on top of the price of the software. I would also thank the development team for being responsive to individual requests (as they did in my case). I am a little surprised at the critical and unenthusiastic comments about this quite a nice and elegant software that actually does quite well what it aims to do. It is really good and unique programme that synthesises a lot of unconnected functionalities on the Mac. With a bit of imagination academics and non-business people can use it to very good effect. So I would suggest that the developers should not market it only as a CRM product. I recommend it unreservedly.

Alas, I have not been able to find any documentation, I cannot see any emails nor see how this app. should replace "Mail.app" in any way. I need to see what has arrived today (not necessarily project related) as well as to be able to search in my mailboxes. Finally, it is weird that events and contacts can be created from crm4mac, but seemingly not maintained without opening the Apple apps. Thus...good idea, definately something I could use...as such a nice "one-window" solution....but it doesn't seem to work at all. Thus...it has been trashed...again :( /Sune

• 2.1 Can Hang on Startup Never Can Recover

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I previously gave a good rating for CRM4Mac but they introduced a serious bug in version 2.0 with auto synchronization on startup and did not fix it in 2.1. I reported the bug but they did nothing about it. If you have a lot of email in your "on my mac" account DO NOT enable CRM4Mac to synchronize with it or enable it. I could open the program the first time and then it starts syncronizing. The next time I try to open the program it will hang on the startup screen. The only way to recover is to completely delete every part of CRM4Mac from your computer including the undocumented helper application. At the very least you should enable the logging to console option in preferences as there is no other way to see what went wrong. I suggested when 2.0 exihibited this bug that IBizzi include a way to disable auto synchronizatiion at startup so that at least the program would open. They didn't. I have had high hopes for their approach which is to leverage icalendar and addressbook but their implementation has never risen above beta quality code.
