"It didn't work"

Cons: While the application did start to run it was then stopped by the archetypal 'such-and-such has a problem and needs to close' box. End of story , really. Windows XP sp3 with no special frills . Cossacks AOW remains unpatched !

"Easy Cheesy!"

Pros: 2 minute download.

Cons: 2 minute download.

Summary: Not sure what might have gone wrong with Geoff's attempt at patching but mine went flawless (Windows XP SP3).
