Lite version, smaller size, subtitle is simple TextBlocks. (no effect) It was designed for my win8 tablet, and now it is ported to Win10 UWP, so it should support phone now, but still mainly for tablet I think. But please be aware that it will not support all formats/codecs, it's just a player. And it's free, so just have a try.
