Pros
Ability to access multiple clips and to archive them. It's very easy to use, seems to play well with others and so far seems basically problem free.
Cons
There really aren't any I can think of.
Summary
Excellent, well behaved, very useful program.

Pros
Multiple clipboards and palates, and the easy copy and paste functions they offer has made CopyPaste indispensable to me.
Cons
As of Mavericks, using 3.5 meant disappearing palates and generally uneven performance. I happened to have the disk image of an earlier version (3.3) in my applications folder. After uninstalling 3.5, and reinstalling 3.3, the app works as before.
Summary
If you can find an earlier download, use it until they work out the bugs.

Pros
Used to be wonderfully easy to use.
Cons
Basic functions such as "command C" and "command v" don't work anymore with Mavericks. I've used CopyPaste Pro for decades and it has now failed me.

It's not only Mavericks, I've had this sporadic problem in Snow leopard too. Using CopyPaste Pro commands works fine but as soon as I use the normal OSX "command C" or "Command V", it pastes some old clipboard item or doesn't work at all. Have been trying to get an answer from Plum Amazing but so far no response on this. Been using this great software for many many years but frustrated that I can't get normal copy/paste working for times when I don't need the CPP program features.

Pros
Great when it isn't broken
Cons
I've used CPP since the days of 0S9, and I've loved it, but it's broken - the Clip Archive no longer accepts clips, and the Clip History is completely random in what it saves from log in to log in. I've written 3 times to support and not received as much as an acknowledgment of my request.
Summary
This was an absolutely great product for years, but since it was sold to Plum Amazing, it's been all downhill. Look somewhere else.

Pros
In its day it was excellent! Those days are way over.
Cons
Ancient bugs the developer doesn't give rat's about. NO tech support at all. Lazy, apathetic developer. A serious PITA to use at times.
Summary
LOOK ELSEWHERE for a decent clipboard extension and management program. Here's why:
There are two big fat, ancient, never repaired bugs in CopyPaste Pro that have inspired me to look elsewhere.
1) At unpredictable times, it breaks simple Command-C. It simply does not work, period. You must use an added keyboard command to copy anything. The only cure is to Quit the app. Then Command-C works again. You can restart CopyPaste Pro again and probably Command-C will work for a while. But it will eventually break again. (In fact, it broke right now! Just when I needed it. PITA!)
2) Command-C-3 and Command-C-4 haven't worked in MANY years. They are unusable. You'll fail if you try.
These problems occur on all Macs i have used, all versions of OS X. They are universal. I've been a CopyPaste Pro beta tester for years. I told the developer about both of these ancient bugs. NOTHING AT ALL was ever done to fix them. In the case of the Command-C-3 and -4 problems, the developer threw up his hands and gave up. I'm not convinced he ever bothered to try to fix them. I believe he was just too lazy to care. In the case of the breaking of Command-C, I've told him three times, from kindly to EMPHATICALLY and he plain old don't give a rat's. He doesn't care. That's a WORTHLESS relationship between developer and customer. It's reckless apathy, undeserving of anyone's financial support.
Therefore, I can only suggest:
LOOK ELSEWHERE for a decent clipboard extension and manager application. This is NOT the application you're looking for. I'm a very long time CPP user who is disgusted with the now lazy, uncaring developer.
NOT worth your money. NOT worth your frustration.

To add further frustration to my review: I've found that CopyPaste Pro phones home to Google Analytics.
The only reason to do so to my knowledge is to allow Google surveillance of my computer behavior. If your app is going to surveil my computer use, then ASK MY PERMISSION FIRST, DAMMIT. I have used my reverse firewall Little Snitch to deny CopyPaste Pro access to Google Analytics forever. I suggest other folks with reverse firewalls consider doing the same.
Pros
Good multi-clipboard app.
Cons
Doesn't have "paste as plain text" functionality.
Even more importantly, over the last few weeksI have written to them several times with a question, and I have received no replies at all.
Summary
Good utility, but no support.

Pros
Every aspect of this must-have software goes beyond anything that's available. It short circuits simple and complex tasks into amazingly swift work. Love the editor that comes with it. One of the best products on the market.
Cons
None for me!
