CompuApps DriveEraser permanently erases data from hard disks, removable media, partitions, files and folders. It is specifically designed to eliminate data that is no longer needed and should not be recovered by anyone else. Major functions: secure erase hard/removable disk drives, secure erase any selected partition, secure erase for unused free space in selected partition, secure erase files/folders, create virtually any custom secure erase rules.
Version 1.19 Minor bug fixes and updates are: implemented data transfer rate for Full Erase partition, which display erase speed with dynamic speed throttling; Implemented Elapsed time, and remaining time for Full Erase partition; and improved UI with new images and icons.
