Comodo System Cleaner collects three free and useful cleaning utilities: Registry Cleaner, Disk Cleaner, and Privacy Cleaner. Running these utilities will rid your computer of duplicate, harmful, or otherwise unnecessary files.
The interface of this program is colorful and easy to navigate and use. Before it runs a cleaning task, it creates a backup of your system to prevent any accidental loss of data, which is a great benefit. Day-to-day computing inevitably causes stray files and other debris to build up in your system, and it's often difficult to find and delete it all. We ran each of Comodo System Cleaner's utilities on our laptop PC, and it cleaned out a whole bunch of unneeded junk on our system without deleting anything we didn't want it to delete or otherwise damaging our computer's functionality. The process was swift and efficient. We already had a couple of different types of virus and spyware protection software installed on our computer, yet Comodo System Cleaner was able to find junk that the other programs had missed. We don't suggest running this program in lieu of your standard antivirus and spyware program, but it's a nice complement, and we plan on keeping it installed on our system. We found this program to be very easy to use; however, there's a Help file available as well as support from the manufacturer.
Comodo System Cleaner is as well-designed and functional a program as its competitors, yet it's free, which makes it the best bargain there is.

My cpus were running at 80% and turns out it is a comodo program which cannot be turned off or changed in settings. I don't know about you, but I am real tired of programs installing services and background programs I do not want. They all think they are the only app on the box. I un-installed it and am happy with TweakNow reg cleaner, thanks.

Pros
Comodo cleans more junk from your computer than any other program I have used. Because it is so thorough, it is necessary to be ultra cautious about exactly what you want to have cleaned unless you want to spend time doing a System Restore.
Cons
This is so thorough that I would not recommend using it as a daily utility.

I believe that, unless you feel the need to clean your computer frequently, Comodo will do the job for you like no other program...and it's free to boot.

"Good product, not very intuitive"

The program gives the user options on how "much" drilling down they want to accomplish. This feature allows for a truly quick check and update.
Cons
The interface displays "NOT CLEAN" after selecting "CLEAN". The "CLEAN" mode only identifies, it does not perform the corrections and/or deletions.
Summary
Good program; however better interface and instructions are necessary.

Decent cleaner to have in the arsenal. Auto-cleaner is kind of OK.
Cons
When Skynet takes over, this program will save mankind (but hopefully not before they make the Summer Glau model Terminator). Wield with extreme caution. Probably wouldn't be missed in the meantime, however. CCleaner, WinUtilies, and Index.dat Analyzer are all you really need as far as general file and registry cleaners go. (And Yes, there is a 64 bit version of Index.dat Analyzer, but not here on C-Net). And did Abexo forget to pay their electric bill? I don't think it's here either anymore, but that one has saved the day in a few emergencies (but it's another registry obliterater to be wielded cautiously).
Summary
Don't do anything beyond the defaults, unless you want to watch your computer make that noise Pac-man did after that red ghost(Blinky?), got him. Game over.

I can't really rate this program as I don't know enough about security and registry. It aggregates Registry, Privacy, and Disk Cleaners, with separate controls for each. It was easy to use. It didn't break anything. except a couple of auto logins in the browser.
Cons
I was astounded to realize - its disk cleaner will remove duplicates of music and photos from the machine. No thank you!!! What if it chose to remove the song from my library, and leave it on my Sansa player? Possible major mess!

It worked well for me. It removed files that held surfing info, cleaned up the reg. without any repercussions and emptied files that it found had problems.
Cons
While it did clean well, it cleaned too well and I lost some files that were old but had useful info. It constantly edited out my site cookies and I was reposting them two maybe three times a day.
Summary
I would tell anyone just starting out with a new computer to use it to keep system clesn. Or, perhaps some tracks hiding were required and in that instance I would recommend it. But don't let it alone with your files.

Summary
Comodo System Cleaner was the first cleaner I ever used. A great utility to begin with AS DEFAULT SETTINGS ARE SAFE. Click a couple buttons, and it does the work. Okay, it does not clean as thoroughly as some of the others, but it does well and again... IS SAFE. I would recommend this to any beginner who is cautious and a little nervous about messing something up. It won't happen with this one if left at default. When you're more comfortable and confident, get into some of the more advanced options and you'll like the results. When I discovered the Wipe feature I was astonished to find that it increased my free space from 68% to 82%. It took about 10 hours, but I sleep that long.
One flaw, if you could call it that. Comodo creates and keeps Monstrous Backups that can take up a lot of hard drive space in the long run. Not a big problem though. Delete old ones manually by going into Comodo's folder to the subfolder "Backup." Or just run a search for
