CoffeeCup Visual Site Designer is a WYSIWYG Website creator and editor that helps you make Webpages with no experience or HTML knowledge. Just drag and drop images or text on the page until you like what you see, and then upload it to your Website. Visual Site Designer comes with 10 Webpage themes to start you off. Create Websites with multiple pages, text fields, graphics, animations, and more. Add your own images or use the built-in button and background creators to make every step a breeze.

Visual Site Designer also has its own image creation tools so you don't need other graphics software. You can add effects like glow, shadow, and transparency to your text and images, and make custom mouseover buttons and effects in a snap. Visual Site Designer creates all the images and JavaScript for you. When you're happy with your page, upload it to your server with the built-in FTP client. Visual Site Designer puts all your pages and images online for you, practically eliminating the hassle of broken links and missing images. Version 6.0 adds support for PNG and now creates fully W3C compliant pages.

Unlike other Web design programs, CoffeeCup VisualSite Designer makes it easy to create Web pages with no experience at all. Using an attractive interface, users have the option of creating a new home page using more than 40 stored templates. There are several pitfalls to this program, however. You can't open existing HTML files and all program-saved files are in a VNU format. With no ability to view the source code you can t make any changes to the layout without the program tools. While there is the ability to insert HTML code, the program converts it when the page is saved. Novices will be pleased with dynamic features such as mouse-over buttons and special JavaScript effects. Publishing is also a snap with a built-in FTP function. While VisualSite Designer is a good start for newcomers, anyone with HTML design experience will be frustrated by the restrictions.
