Publisher's Description
From CDisplay Enterprise:
CDisplay is a sequential image viewing utility. It allows you to view JPEG, PNG and static GIF format images sequentially in the style of a comic book. The CDisplay does this by loading the images first and then organizing them sequentially without decompressing the file. It has no file writing capabilities so the files you will be viewing using this viewing utility remains totally untouched.
CDisplay can load JPEG, PNG and static GIF images one or two at a time, view images in a zip, rar, ace or tar archive file without need of decompression, view through images sequentially and scroll around with a press of a key, and do automatic color balancing of the images.

"Great Comic Reader"
Version: CDisplay Image Display 1.8.1.0
Pros
Easy to use, Simple controls, and Reliable.
Cons
Does not auto scale many comics. Large screens are fine, but does not scale down comics, user must scroll or manually re-size.
Summary
Great. Use it all the time to read downloaded comics in CBR format.

"One more app that I really don't need"
Version: CDisplay Image Display 1.8.1.0
Pros
Browses CBR and CBZ files.
Cons
Windows XP(SP2) and later already has the ability to do what this program offers.
Summary
CBR and CBZ files are nothing more than a renamed ZIP file. Simply by renaming the file, Windows can browse the files sequentially using the Windows Photo Gallery app just as well.

"Efficient, configurable, small footprint comic display"
Version: CDisplay Image Display 1.8.1.0
Pros
I installed and tested half a dozen of the most used comic display programs and this was the best one. In particular, CDisplay was the only one that allowed you to rotate all images in a file at once (for portrait viewing on small screens).
Cons
UI is pretty spare, basic Visual Studio dialog boxes only.
Summary
The most feature-rich and configurable of the comic display progs I tested; the interface was intuitive and easy, if not particularly pretty.

It's good enough for a casual reader like me.
