This free application provides a nice selection of audio tools, provided you don't encounter the installation snags that occurred in some of our tests. CD'n'Go Suite's interface is graphically pleasing and boasts a compact layout scheme. However, on some test machines, we had problems installing it when it failed to locate a necessary file. The program rips CDs into several popular formats--including WAV, MP3, and OGG--and retrieves track information from the Internet. In addition, you'll find an ID3 tag editor, a CD-burning utility, and a tool for scheduling tasks. Best of all, this program costs nothing. If your jukebox of choice can't already rip CDs or create audio discs, CD'n'Go Suite makes a mostly solid offering.

In this module you can extract digital-audio data from your standard audio CDs using your CD-ROM. CD'n'Go supports a wide variety of SCSI CD-ROM readers, including ATAPI drives. The CDDB button let you get song titles from a CDDB server and store them in a standard Windows CD player. It also can automatically set the ID3 tags to make MP3 files or other compressed audio files.

It does the job well. Easy to operate interface. Integrates with CD Database to find track names. Performs compression to MP3.
Cons
Crashes occasionally. "Do you wish to continue? May go crazy!"
Burn'n'Go is a bit suspect, ! prefer DeepburnerSummary

It is simple to use and seems pretty quick compared to others I have used.

The burn part worked on one of my computers but gets a fatal error and shuts down on the other one. Probably just a tweak needed.

"CD'n'Go! was unable to detect any CDROM in your system." What nonsense. If much simpler rippers than this one can detect it, I don't see why it would be such rocket science for CD'n'Go to detect it too. Disappointing.

I definately recommend this one, its relatively easy to use, and outputs audio in high quality. There apears to be absolutely no spyware/adware in this rogram :)

Badly in need of an update. Doesn't see my BENQ or Lite On drives. Decent interface (if it worked). There are some options but if it see's your drive this software appears to be a no brainer to me.

I, too, couldn't get this program to recognize my CD drive. I had much better luck with the CDex program.

This is an amazing app and being free is downright amazing. I use it on three different computers, and it has streamlined my entire ripping process. With one computer, I was experiencing the crash problems some other users had complained of. If you turn off the "On the fly if possible" check box in the Programs tab w/in options, this problem will no longer exist. This application is speedy, thorough, and produces EXCELLENT quality audio files. It even comes w/ 8 preloaded codecs for the more advanced user. A definitely one of the best apps out there.
