CCEnhancer is a companion program that works with CCleaner to boost that program's thoroughness and effectiveness. You do have to have CCleaner already installed on your machine for this app to function in any way.

Pros

Immediate integration: CCEnhancer integrates immediately with CCleaner upon installation. All you have to do to access its increased functionality is to run CCleaner just as you've always done.

Noticeable difference: In order to measure the effectiveness of this program, we ran CCleaner on its own before installing CCEnhancer, and then again after. This showed clearly how well the addition of the second program boosted the scanning and cleaning power of the first. There were additional items found in all areas during the second scan, but the most dramatic difference appeared in the Registry scan.

Cons

Convoluted installation: Installing this app can be a little confusing, and it's hard to tell initially if you've done it right. It also asks you to update it as soon as you install, which seems like an unnecessary extra step.

Bottom Line

CCEnhancer is a convenient free program to help you keep your computer running at peak efficiency. While it's not a standalone option, it does work well with the free version of CCleaner, so you can get this enhanced cleaning combo completely free.

Ruined My Ccleaner!!!

It's free and seems to somehow magically work for some.
Cons
Didn't work for me. It actually corrupted my Ccleaner. I Had to uninstall and re-install Ccleaner to get it to work again.
Summary
I personally would avoid this software.
Don't waste your time on this one!

NONE!!!!!! . . . . .(NOW there are now more than ten Characters, CNet!)
Cons
Wouldn't do anything at all without first having to install Microsoft .Netframework (NetFx20SP2_x86.exe). After I found and installed that, CCEnhancer opened "a window box", but would not do anything else. It didn't install on the computer, it didn't do anything at all.

I have used both CCEnhancer and CCleaner for many years without issue. However, when using any client that addresses issues in your computers registry, you should always back up the items the client intends to correct. Just in case there becomes a problem. I clean my computers monthly. I run ASC 7 first and then CCEnhancer and CCleaner. ASC automatically backs up the items to be removed. When using the registry cleaner function of CCleaner, the user is propted whether or not to back up the issues removed. If you are not an experienced computer user and can recognize where an issue may occur, back them up. The backup file will be placed in your documents folder.

Seems to remove A LOT of stuff, each time finding more and more.
Cons
But will chip away at bits of OS from outside toward center through such files as dlls until computer becomes unusable, along with CC doing the same, that's my experience over the years. Had to do reinstalls every 2 months or so after progressively worse system failures. This time left CC and extensions out of the picture, no problems. Cannot prove a negative but I would not put this one back on.

Hides itself and a separate monitor/auto-reloader. Very, very difficult to rid OS of this terrible program.

This program will not be found in the usual places; certainly not in C: Programs. If you disable it from running at startup, it will reload itself. Even 'Disable at boot' will not stop it. I suggest you run WinPatrol to keep track of it's activities and run either Utool uninstaller or Revo Uninstaller to hunt it down. It will take someone with regit expertise to finish removing all of the elements and you still won't find the monitor/auto-reloader. CNet eally ropped te ball on this one. Doesn't even need to be installed! Makes a great program even GREATER by helping Ccleaner remove a LOT more junk. Updated frequently.
