It's free and seems to somehow magically work for some.
Didn't work for me. It actually corrupted my Ccleaner. I Had to uninstall and re-install Ccleaner to get it to work again.
I personally would avoid this software.
.(NOW there are now more than ten Characters, CNet!)
Wouldn't do anything at all without first having to install Microsoft .Netframework (NetFx20SP2_x86.exe). After I found and installed that, CCEnhancer opened "a window box", but would not do anything else. It didn't install on the computer, it didn't do anything at all.
Don't waste your time on this one!

how could you not have netframework on your system? unless you don't use the internet.

you need ccleaner installed first. this is an enhancer for ccleaner. kinda like trying to install a firefox plug in without firefox.
Regular updates, gets the job done, resource friendly, excellent addition to CCleaner
not a stand alone client requiring CCleaner to do the actual cleaning
I have used both CCEnhancer and CCleaner for many years without issue.
However, when using any client that addresses issues in your computers registry, you should always back up the items the client intends to correct. Just in case there becomes a problem.
I clean my computers monthly. I run ASC 7 first and then CCEnhancer and CCleaner. ASC automatically backs up the items to be removed. When using the registry cleaner function of CCleaner, the user is propted whether or not to back up the issues removed. If you are not an experienced computer user and can recognize where an issue may occur, back them up. The backup file will be placed in your documents folder.
Seems to remove A LOT of stuff, each time finding more and more.
But will chip away at bits of OS from outside toward center through such files as dlls until computer becomes unusable, along with CC doing the same, that's my experience over the years. Had to do reinstalls every 2 months or so after progressively worse system failures. This time left CC and extensions out of the picture, no problems. Cannot prove a negative but I would not put this one back on.
Works great in conjunction with CCleaner and adds a lot more programs that you wouldn't normally have or know to clean on your system.
Can't think of anything bad to say about this free software program.
Really adds a lot to CCleaner and you'll be glad you downloaded it since its free too!

keeps computer clean and fast I've used this for quite awhile and makes ccleaner an even better program
none works great for me
Does clean a few more Items
Start speed of CCleaner is really slow
Got rid of way more crap than CCleaner!
Not any at all.
This is a must have for CCleaner users!
None that I can find.
Hides itself and a separate monitor/auto-reloader. Very, very difficult to rid OS of this terrible program.
This program will not be found in the usual places; certainly not in C: Programs. If you disable it from running at startup, it will reload itself. Even 'Disable at boot' will not stop it. I suggest you run WinPatrol to keep track of it's activities and run either Utool uninstaller or Revo Uninstaller to hunt it down. It will take someone with regit expertise to finish removing all of the elements and you still won't find the monitor/auto-reloader. CNet eally ropped te ball on this one. This kind of program point up the need for an excellent "Find & Destroy" program to root them out.

What the HECK are you talking about??? I've been using this for probably 2 years. . .not only have I had NONE of the problems you mention, I need to click on the .exe to ever RUN this program -- it doesn't INSTALL on my computer AT ALL!
Doesn't even need to be installed!
Makes a great program even GREATER by helping Ccleaner remove a LOT more junk.
None that i've found.
If you love Ccleaner like i love Ccleaner, you NEED TO run CCEnhancer first.
