This utility makes managing your collection of bookmarks much easier. Each bookmark contains not only the URL, but also the logon passwords, your rating, and keywords. Bookmark Buddy can check the status of bookmarked sites in the background to see whether they have been updated or moved since you last visited. The import and export features let you work with several browsers at once, including Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. The installation is remarkably flexible, and you can change any of the settings later from the Application menu.

Bookmark Buddy supports only one level of subfolder, and you can't see items in two categories at once. To make up for this, you can group bookmarks using separators and place one bookmark in several categories. The program automatically maintains lists including Recently Visited, Recently Added, Frequently Visited, Scheduled, and Favorites. To safeguard your privacy, the application can lock your bookmarks with a password. Anyone using more than one browser or who is simply frustrated with his or her browser's Favorites/Bookmarks features should try Bookmark Buddy.
