This very simple but clever application may help protect your sensitive information from keyloggers, but it lacks some features we'd like to see. The compact interface has 75 individual buttons for all numbers, letters, and symbols found on your keyboard. You enter passwords, credit card numbers, or other private information by clicking the keys; that way, logging programs can't capture your strokes. Blue Shield also displays icons to add spaces, backspace, copy and clear entries, but alas, it won't save any information or generate new passwords for you. You can randomize the buttons, but we don't know who will find this odd feature useful. We also think the trial period is a bit short, especially given the app's simplicity. Still, if you suspect you're infested with a keylogger and still need to perform private online tasks, Blue Shield might assist you.Publisher's description
