Pros: Good detection rates.
Cons: Very slow scanning speed .Crashed my system....
Summary: It has very slow scanning speed.It also has many false detections.Slowed down my system and crashed it with Blue screen of death.

Pros: Doesn't Hog your PC - My pc always seems fast. Seems to have a good virus detection rate.
Cons: Too many issues - For example lots of users find BitDefender causes Windows Live Messenger to crash even when turning off Instant Messaging scanning and encryption and ends with users having to change file in safe mode.
Summary: The product is good but isuses often occur. In the 2009 version the suite kept turning itself off with the main part becoming unresponsive. Many users experienced this but BitDefender could only say each time they where working on it.

"Bitdefender is a rotten joke!"
Pros: NONE......
Cons: - Hogs my CPU while updating definitions!!!!
- Redundant utilities,since it is not comparable with other established brands
in terms of performance
- AV service hanged frequently & keeps reminding me to reboot in order restart itSummary: How can downloading (& I'm not about installation, it was prior to that), an update file require 50% of CPU usage!?

"comprehensive, Light footprint, stellar service"
Pros: Light footprint, stellar service, comprehensive, hourly updates, customizable features, fast scans and detection, responsive
Cons: No one click Internet halting option
Summary: It is very a good product and I highly recommend it any user regardless of level of expertise. Mcafee and Norton are resource hogs.

Cons: it is make your computer too slow i have computer like 200 ram but this program need more than that
