Version: Bible Explorer 4
"Go try a different program like e-sword"
Pros: Has a lot information,
Cons: Most of the information that is available for this program is available in other programs because the information is public domain. The format they use is old and is no longer supported in the industry. They have a discussion group that you must believe in their beliefs, or else they will inform you that you are going to hell. For an example, I said that people who are gay should not be discriminated against in any fashion, and I was told my flesh is wining the war against my soul.

"Uninstalled due to discussion group"
Pros: Has a lot of features and is well put together.
Cons: Not a program you can just jump into and be able to use - there is a learning curve. Also, whenever you click the shortcut to open the program, it appears to be communicating with the internet as there are popup messages to that effect. Finally, I uninstalled this because it has a "discussion group" associated with the program. If I could have gotten the program WITHOUT the discussion group, I would have probably kept it. However, any ladies who may be reading this, the persons posting to this group appear to be women haters, and I found many of the posts to be offensive. There was one man, however, who spoke against the other remarks but he was told he'd better watch what he believes, that they were worried about him and they would pray for him. I decided I didn't want a program associated with this discussion group on my machine.

"The software is quite flexible to surf through"
Pros: Being a software developer and a teacher, I am almost every time on the PC. Thanks to God that I now have desktop Bible. No excuse for not having time to read the scriptures anymore.

"Excellent tool for Bible Study!"
Pros: I like the convenience of having all of the study aids in one software program without having to go through a bunch of physical books. They have a great selection of respected theologians to choose from, depending on your preference based on various biblical disciplines. I don't think race should factor when rating this software program (and I'm an African American woman), and men are to teach the word according to the scriptures. The only crucial factor tone should consider should be if the individual's interpretation echos the word of God; and the next would be which style best seems to communicate it's truths to the individual. The best bible study software I've used, and it helps me to really dig into the word! I highly recommend!!
