Editors' reviewThis screensaver lets you tour Hawaii free of charge, but we do have a few suggestions as to how it could improve. Though the application's image library mainly focuses on Hawaii's natural scenery (such as volcanic crates and crashing waves), you will find a couple of skyline shots of what we'd guess is Honolulu. Image quality isn't horrible, but it isn't particulary good, as many of the images look old and faded. It also would be nice if the application provided informational captions and some sort of soundtrack. Though you will find a nice library of transition effects, you can't set the delay between images or choose a random sequence. Also, some of the transitions are quite slow and may frustrate impatient users. Best of Hawaii isn't the best travel screensaver we've ever encountered, but you could do worse, particulary given it's totally free.
See 20 pictures of Hawaii from the air, from the land, and even underwater. The settings allow you to choose transition effects. To remove this screensaver at any time, go to the control panel's "Add or Remove Programs" option. Version 2 is now compatible with Windows Vista.
