From Bang & Olufsen:
BeoPlayer is an MP3 player with a Bang & Olufsen attitude. It automatically sorts your MP3 music alphabetically by genre, artist, song and album title - and lets you create you own playlist of favorites from the different groups of tracks. Beoplayer is not only a player in its own right, it is also an entry point to other products enabling digital recording, storing and/or reproduction.
What's new in this version:
- BeoPort to run on Microsoft Windows 64-bit;
- It's possible to disable the BeoPlayer control bar and info bar to slide in from the left and right of the screen.

"Fashionable player with style"
Version: BeoPlayer 3.1
Pros
No doubt ofcourse this is the most stylish player on the earth, there will be no player as stylish as this one.
Cons
This is not as good as other players though it is much fashionable in designs. I think there should be higher evaluations in this player. Though it is stylish and pretty it is not such good use in playing music.

"pretty, but not excellent"
Version: BeoPlayer 3.1
Summary
beoplayer is no doubt one of the prettiest players out there. It has an extreme cool and professional interface. Its scan feature allows the program to collect all the mp3 files avaiable in your hard drive, so that users don't have to waste time searching for files. However, beoplayer does not have as many options as some other players like winamp or real player. In addition, there are some bugs in this program. For instance, sometimes it is not able to play some mp3 files unless restarting the program. Also that the player sometimes freezes when trying to close. Nonetheless, despite all these bugs, if you are looking for a COOL and professional designed player, Beoplayer should be your best choice

"Great Player"
Version: BeoPlayer 3.1
Summary
This thing makes MP3s really sound sweet, and it has a cool graphic interface.
BUT: The player maxes out my processor every so often and the system hangs for up to 5 minutes. Winamp and Nero work fine. For a free player Beoplayer is truly outstanding -
"Its great to use -- very easy to create playlists"
Version: BeoPlayer 3.1
Summary
I like this player very much -- its very easy to use -- this program has the easiest way to create play lists just drag and drop -- quality of sound is great -- much easier to create playlist on than the quintessential player or windows media player -- very satisfying free player

"A Well Conceived Fusion of Form and Function."
Version: BeoPlayer 3.1
Summary
A Fantastic program. Simple, It does Overload your system's RAM as much as say Quicktime and is far more Stable than Winamp, WinMedia and many others.
The Organizational properties do help find your music, but that depends on the subcategories already given the format.
However it is the way it covers your screen that is so aesthetically Pleasing, A true delight! -
"Best player combined with others"
Version: BeoPlayer 3.1
Summary
As a music player, Beoplayer is the best. Wonderful interface and intelligent scanner that makes you forget about library maintenance. It has no burner though, so I use it together with musicmatch or sonicstage, just for those functions.
B&O keeps its quality with this player. -
"Now for something completely different . . ."
Version: BeoPlayer 3.1
Summary
If you are looking for an mp3 jukebox that doesn't take up a lot of space and works intuitively, this player is for you. The software was written as a selling tool for Bang & Olufsen's new mp3 and PCLink audio products, but the selling is only done inside the Help file and is clearly labeled, so you won't have to endure a continuing sales pitch in your player, as MusicMatch subjects you too. I was a big MusicMatch fan until 8.2 proved to be a bloated advertising tool to sell downloads. Everything slowed down to a crawl, the interface was clunky and boring and too big, and the application burned too many resources. This player has me totally hooked.
Pros: It's free. Also: the interface is slick and totally different from any other player software on the market. It doesn't try to look like a stereo faceplate, but instead is a tiny vertical stripe that lives unseen on the right side of your screen. While different from anything you may be used to, the interface only takes a few minutes to grasp and makes much more sense than the clunkier players. To access it, just wave your mouse over any point on the far right side and a tiny black triangle will appear. Click on it, and the interface will pop out and stay out as long as you are clicking in it. Once you're through, just move your mouse somewhere else and the interface disappears while your music is playing. Your music list sits in the same manner on the left side of your screen, and quickly organizes your files by artist, title, genre, or playlist. Playlists are drag-and-drop. Other features include automatic access to CDDB when an audio disc is playing, one-click scan of your hard drive(s) to find music files, and automatic sort that was surprisingly accurate for my files, given that I have a broad range of everything from county to classical to electronic ethnic music. Plays all the most advanced audio formats.
Cons: No built-in equalizer, but the quality is so good you won't need it; also has no burner, but you wouldn't expect that in a free player.
