• it works but some efford necessary

  Pros

  I have 5 years worth of SMS history back from Android on my new iPhone. The program guides you thru the process so it works in the end. It even integrated SMS from the same person from Android and some which have already been received and sent on the iPhone. That is really great!

  Cons

  A little bit scary with the (ab)use of the iTunes backup and the deactivating of passwords and security features, but maybe there is no other way to smuggle something into Apple's golden cage :-)

  Summary

  I found no other way to get back my SMS history. Is that worth 20+ Dollar? Well that's up to you. Tip: you should do that right at the beginning of setting up a new iPhone but it works also later.

• transferred 20 messages; but erased my viber messages

  Free trial available that transfers 20 messages only.

  Cons

  It erased my viber messages history. I would have been fine with keeping my viber messages on my new iphone; rather than attempting to transfer just 20 sms from my old android phone. Even if I pay and purchase the full version, still its not worth to transfer old messages and lose the recent ones.

  Summary

  Attempted to transfer sms from Samsung Galaxy mini to iPhone 4S, but disappointed. Will have to try something else.

  Pros

  The cost-effective phone transfer. It works so well at such a low price. Hope the next version is better.

  Cons

  Attempting ios to nexus 5 transfer. best of numerous efforts 3% transfer before crash.

  Summary

  I gave a try to this tool but no success. I'm using samsung note 2 and it simply did not detect my phone. Now finally, I am settled with another similar tool named Wondershare MobileTrans: and it lived up to my expectations. The only thing missing is that it (MobileTrans) does not transfer all the data (including music and call history) from my galaxy android to my new iPhone 5S. But still would recommend it! <br /><br />PS I'm not advertising this program. I just found it useful and thought of sharing with others. I would also advise you to try before you buy.
