  Pros

  * it's free (but not really - see below);<p>* has firefox and thunderbird profile backups

  Cons

  * with the freeware version, you can't save profiles or jobs, schedule or do incremental backups, making it useful only for zipping a couple of directories;<p>* attempting to open a zipped backup gave me "unsupported or invalid zip file structure";<p>* using the program to remove a few files from a backup sent my computer into some disk access purgatory for a half hour and 250M memory, before i finally killed the process;<p>* the user interface is unconventional, to say the least, and downright confusing (e.g. it opens with a 'browser', for no discernable purpose; unlabelled buttons; no obvious work flow);<p>* the help tips are arcane, in some cases worse than the interface they're trying to explain.<p>how can i trust a backup program that creates corrupt archives? there are way better backup programs out there, even free ones.<p>(and, all backup schemes should include online/remote backup - there are many good options for this; some of the better ones i've found are mozy (https://mozy.com/?ref=ALM866) and xDrive.)
