  "I don't even know it's running"

  Pros: -works quietly in the background and never interferes with any other program
  -provides a status checker so you see how you're contributing to the project

  Cons: none that I've encountered

  Summary: It's nice to know I can help with a project that I consider beneficial. I'm currently only running one project, but I've run as many as three in the past. I often forget it's even on my system.

  "Must have for anyone that cares about Earth or Science"

  Pros: Runs in background or only when computer is idle. Lets you honestly give and help the science or medical study of YOUR CHOICE in a material way without doing a single thing! I have run for literally 10s of thousands of hours with no problems at all!

  Cons: You have to search around a bit to find the full list of choices to find the one or more you want your machine or network to work for. If you are Darth Vader or Dick Cheyney you would hate it!

  "It used to work but now it does not"

  Pros: I cannot really say what I think of this as it would not connect to the server so I couldn't do anything

  Cons: Lide I said it would not connect to the server so I unloaded it and reinstalled the older version and it worked perfectly, It connected right away so it was not the server that was the problem

  Summary: I have been using Boinc for a couple of years now and this is the first time anything like this has happened that I can remember.
